In 2023, I worked on the redesign of the Glamsquad mobile app. The project aimed to:

- Improve the app's user experience by streamlining UX flows and introducing new features for Glamsquad’s members
- Incorporate the new brand identity
- Create a design system and component library

A significant improvement we made was to simplify and consolidate the booking processes into a single, optimized user experience. This streamlined approach enhances the ease of booking beauty services, making it more convenient and intuitive. The revised booking process now also allows customers to effortlessly choose additional services and adjust the service date post-purchase.

Book with your favorite beauty pro

Glamsquad members can now book services with their preferred beauty professionals. This feature enhances the personalization of Glamsquad's services. Members can choose professionals based on their expertise and style. We also offer alternative time slots for added flexibility. This ensures members can book appointments at their most convenient times, further improving their experience with our service.

Design system

During the redesign, I collaborated closely with the development team to establish a new design system. This system enabled us to create consistent design patterns and guidelines. This enhancement not only improved the app's visual consistency, but also accelerated development and boosted efficiency. The availability of reusable components allowed us to concentrate on enhancing user experience and incorporating new features, rather than building new designs from scratch for each iteration. As the app progressed and new features were introduced, the team was able to utilize the existing library of components in both the mobile app and the web experience, leading to a more unified and scalable product.
